Our congregation wants every person the Byhalia, MS and Northern Mississippi area to know Christ.  We envision a community where ever one is a believer and follower of Christ.  We want homes to be filled with parents who encourage children to grow in the Lord and parents who lead by example.  Through us and our works, we want others to know Christ by the life we choose to live.

We believe in the restoration of the original Biblical principles as set out by Jesus and His Apostles in the 1st Century.  We believe in members being added to the church through baptism and in the baptism (a full immersion) of believers for the forgiveness of sins and the receiving of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:37-39). As was the practice in apostolic times, we meet on the first day of the week, Sunday (Acts 20:7), to celebrate Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross by Communion (Mark 14:22-26; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26). It is the central part of our worship. We enjoy meeting together on a regular basis to encourage each other and to worship together (Hebrews 10:23-25; 1 Thessalonians 5:11). Singing is an important part of our church life which we do without musical accompaniment (a capella).
